After twenty years working for other people, the entrepreneur in me really needed an outlet. I wanted to use my know-how in international product development and marketing for an idea of my own; which was, of course, My Own Bunting.The idea actually came from a very practical need. I’m hopeless with a sewing machine and not very handy. I also noticed that I wasn’t the only mother that didn’t quite have the talent and ability to create beautifully decorated parties. Couldn’t it be easier and more fun, I thought? That was how the idea for My Own Bunting was born; a product that’s so obvious I couldn’t believe it didn’t already exist. I then took the step to realise the product myself.After just a year “my” My Own Bunting was in the shops. I’m extremely proud of it and I hope that it brings that extra party feeling to many other families! Inge Mennen
